That said, the one-sheet is intent on showing off the film’s assets: The greatest assembly of Oscar-caliber actors of 2011′s holiday season. Only three Oscar winners on your team, J. Edgar? Suck it. Just two for you, Iron Lady? Too bad, so sad. Carnage has four Oscar winners in Kate Winstlet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz, and director Roman Polanski — not to mention 2003 nominee John C. Reilly. To quote another Broadway show-turned-film, “If you got it, flaunt it.”
